Mr Joshi is exceptional in everyway. I am a retired accident and emergency sister so have a good understanding of medicine. I had a fall due to an illness and sustained a particularly nasty complicated fracture of my distal femur. Some consultants have a very superior attitude. He has an exceptional bed side manner, very kind and thoughtful, explaining everything in great detail. He always smiles and is very kind and considerate keeping you informed at all times. He showed me x rays and explained exactly what he had done and why. I was in theatre for 5 hours and believe it was a very challenging time trying to repair the damage. I asked lots of questions and never once felt I was being a nuisance. I trusted him totally and would recommend him to anyone, he is an asset to the NHS.

I found Mr Joshi and his team to be very caring and thoughtful to mine and my wife's needs. Any questions or queries we had Mr Joshi took the time to explain everything to us, in particularly meeting with us just before the operation to reassure us. The whole experience was excellent the team including the nursing staff and specialised district nurses who visited me at home were again excellent and very caring.
I would recommend Mr Joshi and his team very highly to anyone who needs a knee replacement operation

Mr Yogesh Joshi is a trauma and orthopaedic consultant at Wrexham Maelor hospital since 2016. He specialises in all aspects of knee surgery. He takes pride in the quality of care offered to his patients. He works closely with an excellent multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes. He undertakes various knee opertations including knee arthroscopy (keyhole surgery), ACL reconstruction, cartilage repair, meniscal repair, total knee replacement, partial knee replacements, high tibial osteotomy, multiligament reconstruction of the knee and surgery for recurrent dislocation of patella. In addition he undertakes all kind of trauma surgery when he is on call.
